NBR has all roads・situations around the world. It is said that you are recognized in the world if you win the NBR. The key to win is how we make our car fit the course. This year we made it very well in many ways. In particular the car performed satisfactory with slick tyres.
We drove with confidence in any conditions thanks to Subaru`s advantages. However, frankly speaking, there were some points that the course disliked us. It was like that we were said ・You are still immature.・We still need to tune the car further to fit the NBR although we run the race in many years.
<SUBARU XV HYBRID>
SUBARU XV HYBRID has impact in its exterior. It is heavier by 60kg than its regular model but I never felt it. When I steer the car or I drive through corners, the car makes most of its characteristics and I feel like driving more. Its packaging is completed very well.
It is a hybrid car that realized Subaru`s thought of car making in fuel consumption, performance and driving pleasure.

NBR course is known for its difficulty. It includes about 200 corners and its 300m height difference makes steep up and downs. A weapon of SUBARU is its horizontally opposed engine. Thanks to its low center of gravity Subaru goes through the corners quickly. AWD is Subaru`s another weapon and it has advantages in any road conditions.
This year we aimed to win for three consecutive years with our full strength, but we realized the race`s difficulty.
SUBARU BRZ is my favorite. Low center of gravity of its horizontally opposed engine makes stability and confidence. It drives sportier than I expected.

The race car is perfect for races on NBR as the race results demonstrate. We are able to drive really fast lap times. And the car is consistently navigable in every weather conditions. The whole package is absolutely reliable: the boxer motor, four-wheel drive and last but not least the perfect team performance!

Its always a great pleasure to be racing for Subaru during the 24h Nurburgring. It's one of the toughest races in the world and I believe we showed that our Subaru car is excellent in this demanding race. During all our races, including 2 wins, the car has been fast, consistent and reliable. The history and records of Subaru at Nurburgring is growing impressively and I am proud to be part of it!
I enjoyed very much driving the Subaru WRX s206 back in Japan. It supplies both sportive and comfortable driving, the AWD gives you a great feeling with the car and the road!
