It's the festive season and the Subaru World Rally Team finally gets the opportunity to take a well-earned break before the start of the 2006 World Rally Championship in January.
We caught up with drivers Petter Solberg, Chris Atkinson and Stéphane Sarrazin to see how they will be spending the holidays.

Petter Solberg
"I would love to be celebrating Christmas with my team at their Christmas Party, but unfortunately I can't - I have so few days at home with my family that I need to spend some time with them. I'll be eating lots of unhealthy Norwegian food (doesn't have an English name, but it's all bad for you, I'm sure) at my family's farm in Norway with my brother, parents and dog. Then we'll have the Swedish Christmas with Pernilla's family.
I usually get the same thing at Christmas - socks and ties - but I always need them! For New Year I'll go along with whatever's happening, but sleeping and training is high on the list."
Chris Atkinson
"I've been in Australia since the end of the 2005 season spending time catching up with friends and family as I've been away for almost a whole year. It's very warm here, so I've definitely come at the right time!
I'll be at home for Christmas with my parents and my brother in Queensland as my other relatives are a lot further south. It's usually quite quiet, but that's not so bad as it's going to be a busy 2006. I haven't got anything in particular on my wish list - just good results for next year. And warmer weather in England..not sure if that one's going to happen though!
I'm flying back to the UK on New Year's Day so I don't expect a large New Year's Eve. I'm just looking forward to starting rallying again."
Stéphane Sarrazin
"This Christmas I will be staying with my family at my mother's house in France. It's always very quiet and relaxed. After that I plan to spend some time on the mountain bike with some friends cycling through the countryside around the house. That part of France has lots of hills, making it very good for fitness training. I'll also go on the motocross bike as there are some good trails in the area - that's partly for fitness, but mostly for fun!
For New Year I'll be having a small party with some friends and then getting ready for Monte Carlo. The best Christmas present I could ask for is a win in the rally."
