Xevi gives Oleguer the ride of his life!

Xevi Pons took FC Barcelona football star Oleguer Presas for a passenger ride at today's shakedown test. Far from being a gentle exhibition run, Pons set his best time of the day with Oleguer sitting alongside!

"Rally Catalunya - Costa Daurada is very exciting as it's my home event, and I am looking forward to having a good rally" enthused Pons. "It is great to be competing against Dani Sordo, and to have my friend Oleguer in the car is fantastic, to show him the excitement of a rally car! The Impreza WRC2007 is fast on asphalt, so I can't wait to start on Friday and feel the excitement of the fans! I'm sure there will be extra adrenaline from the crowds so I'm hoping for a strong points finish."
