SUBARU is the 2006 Italian Rally Championship for Constructors Gr.N! This is the verdict of the last round in San Crispino Rally.

Once more time, the SUBARU IMPREZA was the fastest of the Group N car with Piero Longhi and the leader of the Subaru Italia's crews has gained also the Gr.N title.

This is the 2006 final balance of the Subaru Italia team:
• Italian Rally Champion for Constructors
• Gr. N champion (Piero Longhi)
• Under 25 champion (Denis Colombini)
• Ladies champion (Patrizia Sciascia)
• FIA Europe Cup South West champion (Piero Longhi)

And in this last race of the championship SUBARU has renewed the team with the 25-years old Alan Scorcioni (winner of the SUBARU IMPREZA Cup 2006) and the 23-years old finnish driver Anton Alen.

Scorcioni has obtained a convincing 6th place overall. Anton Alen has gained three scratches in the SS of the first leg and has leaded the rally for two SS. Unfortunately, in the second led Anton has lost 4' for a puncture in the same place where other 5 drivers (including the 2005 European Champion Travaglia crashed).

Now everything is ready for the last appointments of the Subaru Italia motorsport appointments: Rally di Monza (where also Valentino Rossi will race with a Subaru Impreza) and Bologna Motorshow.
