The fifth round of the Norwegian Rallychampionship - Aurskog Høland Rally - took place on June 9th under sunny and dry conditions. The Aurskog-Høland Rally is known for its fast stages, and these roads can be very challenging for the drivers. The rally consisted of 8 special stages of totally 80,7 km.

The 19-year old SUBARU-driver Mads Østberg was leading the championship before this round after winning the four previous rounds this season. Mads and his co-driver Ole Kr. Unnerud showed their pace and intentions already from SS1, and was leading the rally from start to the finish. The pair won 7 of the 8 stages. Anders Grøndal and his co-driver Trond Inge Østbye won one stage, and ended as third in their SUBARU Impreza WRC.

The next round of Norwegian Rally Championship, round 6 "Rally Trondelag" will be taken place on 30th June.
