Mads Østberg and his co-driver Ole Kristian Unnerud in their Subaru WRC S10 won Rally Trøndelag on June 30. This was the 6th of the 7 rounds in the Norwegian championship. With this victory the duo of Mads and Ole Kristian took their 6th victory of the season, and it was the 7th consecutive win for Mads. Both Mads and Ole have already before the final round Rally Larvik in September, secured the championships for both drivers and co-drivers.

Rally Trøndelag consisted of 12 specialstages of totally 120 km, the shortest SS only 1.0 km and the longest 14,77km. The start and finish of the rally took place at the town square in the city of Trondheim. The whole rally was a huge battle between the reigning champion Thomas Schie and Mads, and before the last SS, Mads was in the lead with only 0.6 seconds. For Mads and Ole, "maximum attack" was the motto on the last stage, and they succeeded.

Anders Grøndal debuted with Mads's former co-driver Ragnar Engen, and ended again on the last podium spot. The pair is now in battle with Thomas Schie for the silver medal in the championship.

After problems in the two previous rounds, the reigning N4-champion Martin Stenshorne, who switched to Subaru in the middle of the season, won the N4-class and is leading the championship before the last round.

The final round of 2007 Norwegian Rally Championship, "Rally Larvik" will be taken place on 8 September.
