The result of the Rally Centro de Portugal has consigned the 2006 FIA Europe Cup South West to the Subaru Italia's crew Piero Longhi - Maurizio Imerito with their SUBARU IMPREZA Gr.N Prodrive Pirelli managed by Aimont Racing team. The crew wins the title for the second year in a row thaks to their results in the Targa Florio, San Marino, Salento, San Martino di Castrozza and Alpi Orientali rallies.

This is the third title of the 2006 season for the drivers of Subaru Italia. The first was the Italian Championship for Under 25 drivers won by Denis Colombini e Flavio Guglielmini and the second was the women title of the same championship by Patrizia Sciascia and Samantha De Colle.

Piero Longhi - Maurizio Imerito
Piero Longhi (Borgomanero, 12/12/65) and Maurizio Imerito. The Aimont Racing driver had won the italian championship 2000 and 2005. Last year had won the FIA Europe Cup South West ad this year. The crew is currebtly second in the Italian Rally Championship for Driver.

Patrizia Sciascia - Samantha De Colle
Patrizia Sciascia (Sanremo, 03/05/71) and Samantha De Colle. The driver of BM Racing has won the ladies title for the second year in a row.

Denis Colombini - Flavio Guglielmini
Denis Colombini (San Marino, 06/08/84) and Flavio Guglielmini. This very young driver of BM Racing is at the first year with a 4x4 Gr.N car and he is really the rookie of the year. 9 under 25 success in a row, no retirements, and he's jumping up in the overall classification rally by rally.
