"Ryuichiro Kuze Memorial Award 2007" Honour Roll
Presented at WRC Rally Japan 2007

In accordance with the dying wishes of SUBARU Technica International Co., Ltd (STI) founder Mr Ryuichiro Kuze, the "Ryuichiro Kuze Memorial Award" was established by STI and presented as a special prize at Rally Japan. The presentation ceremony was held in the SUBARU hospitality tent in the Service Park on Sunday, October 28th, the final day of Rally Japan 2007, and presented to SUBARU entrants active in the WRC event.

"At the end of leg 3 we went off the road in the forest, though we were able to make it to the end safely. Despite this, we still managed to place first for SUBARU in the non-priority class. I'm very glad to be taking 1st place in my second year receiving the Kuze award as last year I came in 3rd place."
The 'Ryuichiro Kuze Memorial Award' was presented to SUBARU entrants (drivers and co-drivers) in the P-WRC on Rally Japan 2007, and also to SUBARU-running Group N drivers and co-drivers competing outside the P-WRC who placed in the top three in their respective categories. As for the prize itself, it is a specially made acrylic escutchen with a motif of Mr Kuze's smiling face. Secondary prizes such as STI goods and parts were also presented to particular teams.

1st : 300,000yen , 2nd : 200,000yen , 3rd : 100,000yen
Entrants contesting the P-WRC receive the above-mentioned monies, while those entrants outside the P-WRC receive STI goods of equal value or coupons for parts.
Bonuses were also awarded to SUBARU entrants who finished in the top three in the P-WRC.
