Leg 1 - Thursday 11 November
SS1   1838  Perth City Super 1   2.35km
This is the super special stage at Gloucester Park. It's got a very abrasive surface and a big jump in the middle. There's not so much to say about this apart from how abrasive it is. It's only 2.5km, but it's amazing the amount of tyre wear it can cause.

Leg 1 - Friday 12 November
SS2   0931  Stirling West    15.89km
Stirling West and Stirling Long are classic stages that are used every year as part of Rally Australia. Both stages go round the contour of a lake and dam and you've always got the water on the one side of you. It's a very fast stage all the way through and includes lots of junctions that you can't see very well. They're hidden behind bushes a lot of the time and it's easy to overshoot them or misjudge the correct braking distance.

SS3   1004  Stirling Long    34.99km
This is similar to SS2 as the two stages intertwine with each other all the way through.

SS4   1137  Murray North    15.92km
Murray North and Murray South again run almost together. They're much narrower than the previous stages, but are still quite fast and you're nearly always under a canopy of trees all the way through. There are no open spaces at all. It's much twister than the Stirling stages and much more difficult.

SS5   1207  Murray South    19.08km
As this is run so close to Murray North, the stage has the same characteristics.

SS6   1603  Beraking 1    23.03km
This starts very, very fast and is flat out for the first 10km. Then you go into a twisty section, which is much more difficult. We went off there in 2000 so we won't be looking to repeat that!

SS7   1646  Helena South 1   17.31km
This is an exceptionally fast stage, with lots of long straights, great big crests and jumps. There are no twisty sections and it's very, very fast.

SS8   1945  Perth City Super 2   2.35km
This is the super special stage at Gloucester Park. It's got a very abrasive surface and a big jump in the middle. There's not so much to say about this apart from how abrasive it is. It's only 2.5km, but it's amazing the amount of tyre wear it can cause.

SS9   1954  Perth City Super 3   2.35km
This is the super special stage at Gloucester Park. It's got a very abrasive surface and a big jump in the middle. There's not so much to say about this apart from how abrasive it is. It's only 2.5km, but it's amazing the amount of tyre wear it can cause.

Leg 2 - Saturday 13 November
SS10   0946  Beraking 2    23.03km
This starts very, very fast and is flat out for the first 10km. Then you go into a twisty section, which is much more difficult. We went off there in 2000 so we won't be looking to repeat that!

SS11   1029  Helena East 1    22.29km
This stage is very fast for the first 10km and the last 10km are probably the most difficult of the entire event. It's very technical and every corner is deceptive. There are lots of crests, dips and jumps that have to be taken in fifth gear. It's very narrow, all at the same time.

SS12   1108  Atkins 1    4.42km
Apart from the Super Special, this is the shortest stage of the event. It starts flat out for the first 2km, then goes into a tricky spectator section based around a picnic area where there are lots of hairpin junctions. It's a great place to spectate.

SS13   1143  Helena West 1   15.44km
There's not so much to say about this stage. It's very narrow for the first 2km and then gets very fast and stays very fast all the way through. It's quick, but there's nothing too bad in there.

SS14   1211  Helena South 2   17.31
This is an exceptionally fast stage, with lots of long straights, great big crests and jumps. There are no twisty sections and it's very, very fast.

SS15   1534  Flynns 1    20.10km
This is a brand new stage for this year and has not been used in this direction before. It starts very fast for the first 10km, then goes through a series of big open wide fields. There are a couple of sections where the bedrock comes through the road and then it's on to a forest section. This is the one place of the rally where there's a surface change - it gets muddy with pine needles on top and if it's damp it can be the most slippery section of the rally.

SS16   1613  Helena West 2   15.44km
There's not so much to say about this stage. It's very narrow for the first 2km and then gets very fast and stays very fast all the way through. It's quick, but there's nothing too bad in there.

SS17   1648  Atkins 2    4.42km
Apart from the Super Special, this is the shortest stage of the event. It starts flat out for the first 2km, then goes into a tricky spectator section based around a picnic area where there are lots of hairpin junctions. It's a great place to spectate.

SS18   1945  Perth City Super 4   2.35km
This is the super special stage at Gloucester Park. It's got a very abrasive surface and a big jump in the middle. There's not so much to say about this apart from how abrasive it is. It's only 2.5km, but it's amazing the amount of tyre wear it can cause.

SS19   1954  Perth City Super 5   2.35km
This is the super special stage at Gloucester Park. It's got a very abrasive surface and a big jump in the middle. There's not so much to say about this apart from how abrasive it is. It's only 2.5km, but it's amazing the amount of tyre wear it can cause.

Leg 3 - Sunday 14 November
SS20   0700  Flynns 2    20.10km
This is a brand new stage for this year and has not been used in this direction before. It starts very fast for the first 10km, then goes through a series of big open wide fields. There are a couple of sections where the bedrock comes through the road and then it's on to a forest section. This is the one place of the rally where there's a surface change - it gets muddy with pine needles on top and if it's damp it can be the most slippery section of the rally.

SS21   0733  Helena East 2    22.29km
This stage is very fast for the first 10km and the last 10km are probably the most difficult of the entire event. It's very technical and every corner is deceptive. There are lots of crests, dips and jumps that have to be taken in fifth gear. It's very narrow, all at the same time.

SS22   1101  Bannister North Short  13.86km
This stage starts flat out and then the last 4km are very twisty - there are about 15 junctions and finally the stage goes over the famous Bunnings jumps with the water splash at the bottom.

SS23   1129  Bannister Central 1   17.97km
It starts flat out and continues very fast all the way through. It's one of the fastest stages of the event. The last 3km is very twisty and goes through a forest area, which leads into the spectator area at the finish.

SS24   1242  Bannister North Long  35.64km
This stage is very quick all the way through, especially if it's dry. There's nothing too special in this stage really, but there are some long straights in there that are about 1km long. The stage is very open and there are no trees in there at all. It joins SS22 for the last 1km where it goes over the famous Bunnings jumps again and through the river water splash to the finish.

SS25   1330  Bannister Central 2   17.97km
It starts flat out and continues very fast all the way through. It's one of the fastest stages of the event. The last 3km is very twisty and goes through a forest area, which leads into the spectator area at the finish.
