The close collaboration of SWRT, Fuji Heavy Industries and STI had developed the latest WR Car; Impreza WRC 2003 which has made a great improvement from model 2002. This is not only the evolution made by the change of the body shell it bases, but the engine, chassis, the rigidity and aerodynamics are the few factors reexamined to up raise its level of its combat power. With this, its rally-potential has improved more than 2 levels. The following are the exposition of new evolved, Impreza WRC 2003.

AERODYNAMICS
First, when referring to the evolution of chassis, the improvement of the aerodynamic performance from the change of the body shell must be mentioned.
CHASSIS
In order to maintain the motion performance of the suspension and steering abilities constantly, the pursuit for high bend & twist rigidity is required on the chassis.
ENGINE
The biggest point in the improvements this time must be the engine performances.
Impreza WRC2003 Specification
Based on the latest version of the Subaru Impreza roadcar unveiled last September in Paris Motorshow, the Impreza WRC 2003 features a host of improvements designed to further increase its performance in the fiercely competitive 14-round FIA World Rally Championship.
